Products you've bought after receiving free samples?
Have you ever bought a product after receiving a free sample of it, including GWP items?
I think it's a good marketing idea (albeit I suppose quite expensive for the manufacturers?), as it's got me started on quite a few products, which I don't think I'd otherwise have tried:-
Aussie 3 Minute Miracle (freebie I sent away for- from a freebie site)
Dove Deep Replenishing hair cream (freebie, ditto^)
Lancome AquaFusion (free sample, asked at counter)
EA 8 Hour Cream (free sample, ditto^)
Estee Lauder Idealist skin refinisher (GWP)
L'Oreal Touche Magique illuminating concealer (got this for filling out an internet survey on L'Oreal hair colour)
Just a few I can think of right now...

Other Question:
MAC Pigment: How do I wear it?!?

Response:

hmmm... can't think of any at the moment  but i did stock up like crazy when aveda were doing samples of the tourmaline charged eye cream

Other Question:
sunbed to make my skin better?

Response:

I can't think of any either.
I have got free samples after buying the products though (so I can take them on my travels). For example, after getting Angel years ago, I have since collected two (or three) of the free sample versions, which come in lovely miniature star bottles.
I don't think I've ever liked a skin or hair product sample enough to buy the product. With make-up and perfume samples, they last me so long (because I have so many beauty products), that I never need to buy the product. I still have MAC pigment and strobe cream samples from years ago, that I've hardly touched.

Other Question:
new york trip - what do i look out for?

Response:

Philosophy the Present, make up primer. Got a few free samples of this in Space NK after sepnding a small fortune.
Aussie 3 minute miracle - from their website
Original Source Rose and Geranium Bubble Bath - again from their site
Liz Earle skincare, entered a comp on here but didn't win so they sent me samples and I'm very tempted to buy the moisturising cream for combination skin, the toner and the cleanse and polish but would cost a small fortune!!!

Other Question:
Pixi make-up - bought some foundation, palette, lipgloss - lovely stuff!?

Response:

Aussie 3 Minute Miracle (from their website) certainly encouraged me to buy some of their other products.
And I used to get Avon samples with every order - not that I ever bought the actual product of them but they were very nice all the same!
