I was unaware......
I just noticed that Enbrel has filed for FDA apporval for use to treat p. I didn't realize they had finished all clinical trials. That's great news!!

Response:
Now, if it could just be produced (in mass quantity) so it wouldn't cost an arm and a leg!
Health Insurance companies, take note. There is a demand for this "miracle serum."

Response:
yes you are correct. I found out last month that they were submitting to the fda. I also heard that it will be published on their lit. in Jan.

Response:
There are still ongoing studies for the use of Enbrel on "P" and "PA" because I am in one. NOw the wuestions are dosage and how to be delivered. So far Enbel has been great for my PA but nothing for my P, but its only 4 weeks

Response:
Same here Mitch...a tad disappointed with what it has done for my P...or more accurately hasn't done. There is still hope though..it's only been 5 weeks.

What dosage are you getting? 25mg twice a week? I heard some talk about upping the dosage to 50mg twice a week for P. Have you heard anything about that?
Sorry you're not getting the relief you had hoped for. But do remember that we are all different and it could take as long as three months before you see an improvement.
You're in my thoughts and prayers and I look forward to the day when you report to us that you are experiencing relief!
Chin Up!

Response:
My Dermatologist told me last week, that Biologics will be approved for P sufferers without having to have arthritis to justify it come January 2004 :)
